I am a Data Scientist working at Advocates for Human Potential, Inc (AHP).
I received my PhD in Behavioral Psychology from the University of Kansas in 2016 and then completed a postdoctoral position at the Addiction Recovery Research Center at Fralin Biomedical Research Institute at VTC at Virginia Tech. Following my postdoc, I was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Kentucky before joining AHP in 2023.
I use my skills and expertise to understand human behavior and decision-making within the lens of behavioral economics and behavioral science. I leverage my expertise in experimental design, R, and statistics to design experiments and collect, analyze, and interpret data within both frequentist and Bayesian frameworks. I also enjoy creating user-friendly tools in R to make data analysis and visualization easier for others. Recently, I have been honing my skills in SQL and Javascript (node.js and Vue.js) to build web applications.
